Who We Are.
Our Mission
Righteous Savages have a calling. You may be called to be one, or you just don't know it yet, but you can feel the inspiration. We are Americans who have compassion for every single soul on the planet, coming from a love for God, and a desire to do the right thing, doing what has to be done. That is the Righteous part. Love everyone like you would love yourself (Mark 12:31).
At the exact same time we have a deep love for all humanity, there is a place inside of us that is able to bring to bear the most savage use of force against those who desire to bring evil unto us and our families. We do not go looking for trouble. We try to avoid it at nearly all costs. However, if anyone tries to bring deadly force amongst us, the most unimaginable things are going to descend on these evildoers.
Our goal is to motivate and inspire Americans to stop living in the shadows of their faith, and boldly step up. Be compassionate. Be vulnerable. Be a Righteous Savage!
Jon Wheaton
Jon is a strong believer that men need to lead the return to Biblical Masculinity. Jon is a 12 year Air Force veteran and believes that American was founded on the Godly Principles of the Bible. Jon co-founded Righteous Savages with the goal of equipping men to became the leaders that God called them to be. Jon currently lives in Southern Illinois with his wife Amanda, and their two boys Logan and Nolan. Jon is a firearms instructor with a passion for training civilians with the same professional level as police and military. Jon wants to build a Brotherhood that is ready to protect and stand against the evil in the world and lift up the banner of Christ to the world.
Dave Kemp
Dave is the co-founder of Righteous Savages, and is dedicated to inspire and motivate Americans
to stand up for their Christian beliefs, along with empowering and educating people to be defenders of
their families and communities. Dave is a retired (after 29 years) law enforcement Patrol Lieutenant and
SWAT Commander. Today he is also the owner of Tombstone Gun Range, is a video content creator and
law enforcement/civilian firearms trainer. Dave lives in Carterville, IL with his wife of 31 years, Sheila,
and has three grown sons: Nathan, Shane and Aaron. He is also the proud grandfather of two little girls,
Bradi and Paisley.
