Prerequisite: Completion of Righteous Savages Tactical Handgun Fundamentals or equivalent training. No revolvers allowed in this class.

Overview:
Righteous Savages Dynamic Handgun Tactics is the second level in our comprehensive three-level tactical handgun series. Building upon the foundational skills acquired in the first class, this 6-hour course focuses on enhancing the student’s ability to engage threats dynamically and effectively in real-world scenarios. Emphasizing movement, unconventional shooting positions, and advanced decision-making, this class prepares you for the unpredictable nature of defensive encounters. Students will learn to apply their skills under stress, improving their speed, accuracy, and tactical decision-making.

What You'll Learn:

1. Advanced Safety and Tactical Awareness

   • Reinforce safe gun handling in dynamic environments.
   • Maintaining situational awareness and assessing threats in real-time.
   • Techniques to prevent complacency under stress.

2. Shooting on the Move

   • Engaging targets while moving forward, backward, and laterally.
   • Techniques for maintaining accuracy and control while in motion.
   • Balancing speed and precision in dynamic situations.

3. Unconventional Shooting Positions

   • Training for shooting from kneeling, prone, and seated positions.
   • Engaging targets from compromised and less-than-ideal positions.
   • Utilizing cover and concealment effectively in defensive scenarios.

4. Close Quarters Engagements

   • Fundamentals of engaging threats at close distances.
   • Retention shooting techniques to prevent firearm disarmament.
   • Training for quick target acquisition and rapid, accurate fire.

5. Multiple Threat Engagement

   • Techniques for engaging multiple attackers or threats.
   • Prioritizing threats and decision-making under pressure.
   • Efficiently transitioning between targets.

6. Advanced Immediate Action Drills

   • Reinforcing and advancing malfunction clearance techniques.
   • Drills to clear malfunctions quickly while maintaining situational control.
   • Training to perform under pressure and continue the fight.

7. Scenario-Based Training

   • Applying learned tactics in simulated defensive encounters.
   • Practicing decision-making, movement, and engagement in real-time scenarios.
   • Building confidence and competence in dynamic shooting situations.

Course Requirements:

• Semi-automatic handgun (no revolvers).
• Minimum of three magazines.
• 400 rounds of ammunition.
• Eye and ear protection.
• Appropriate range attire and footwear.
